Creature Submission License
Version v1-2026-04 — April 2026
When you submit a creature to Matlu, you're sharing something you made. Here's what that means in plain language.
What you're agreeing to
- You created this. The creature, its name, its story, and any drawing or photo you upload were made by you (or by a child you are responsible for). You are not copying someone else's work.
- We can use it. By submitting, you give Fills Pills permission to display your creature on the Matlu wiki, include it in the game, and create pixel art based on your description. We will always credit you by the name you provide.
- You keep it too. You still own your creature. This license does not take it away from you — we're asking to share it, not buy it.
- Credit stays with the creature. If your creature appears in the game, your name (or the creator name you enter) will appear in the credits. We will not remove the credit later.
- We may not use every submission. Submitting does not guarantee your creature will appear in the game. Creatures go through a review process. We may edit descriptions for length or clarity before publishing.
- For creators under 18. A parent or guardian must give permission before submitting. By ticking the parental consent box on the form, the adult confirms they have read this license and agree on the child's behalf.
Questions?
If something here is unclear, or if you want to withdraw a submission, open an issue on the Matlu GitHub repository and we'll sort it out.
